I developed a project for the development in Togo or Benin agroenergetic company for the production of oil of Jatropha Curcas and panel for use as biofuels.
The project was developed on the basis of the feasibility study conducted by me on the field he last 2 years.
Personally I have already made in Togo and the nursery for plantation of Jatropha Curcas seeds of self-selected.
My project is primarily aimed at professionals interested in investing in a company agroenergetic in Africa to meet its requirements for biofuel, such as municipalities or industry groups.
The complete project will be made available to stakeholders, which are listed below:
- more information on the Jatropha Curcas
-
phases of the project - I do my Curriculum Vitae
Abstract
Project has been developed taking into account the last G8 summit, the Kyoto Protocol, agricultural plans of the countries of ECOWAS and is aimed at European investors, but because of its high relapse Social endless social and economic development, as well as type of "entrepreneurial" the project can be held up to "humanitarian".
G8
In the document signed by the Heads of State and Government in the last G8 held in L'Aquila from 8 to 10 July 2009 shall be established: 's agriculture and food security are central to the international . The production of renewable energy from biomass dev 'to be increased in a sustainable through demands a balanced combination of energy policy with agricultural production, to provide an answer to our energy needs, economic, environmental, agricultural, and at the same time, without compromising food safety. Policies should encourage consumption of biofuel production and a sustainable environment by promoting the benefits and reduce any potential risk, with a strong emphasis on the development and commercialization of second generation biofuels, according to the guidelines of the declaration of the high- Level on World Food Security in June 2008.
Kyoto Protocol The Kyoto Protocol is set commitments to reduce emissions of gases responsible for the 'greenhouse effect. To achieve this objective, the countries have been directed towards renewable energy sources and in particular, the agricultural crops to produce biofuels. Particular effort is concentrated in the cultivation of Jatropha Curcas, as the use of its oil with no results in the production of pollutant emissions.
agricultural countries of the ECOWAS Plan
The Plan identifies a) the reduction of the uncontrolled exploitation of energy resources for domestic purposes (each year about 150,000 ha of forest were destroyed between Togo and Benin 1995 and 2006, to produce coal);
b) development of energy crops for reasons of semi-arid areas with poor soil or organic matter located in poor regions of the country;
c) highlighted on the international market of biomass for the production of biofuel .
Company agroenergetic
agroenergetic company aims to develop renewable energy sources such as biomass, on the basis of their culture and to appreciate their power efficiency.
Un'aziena agroenergetic that respects the environment, economy and population:
1 - does not start conpetizione with food crops;
2 - occurs zones in economically under - valued;
3 - coexists with different economies, so that after producing a legitimate benefit of business, its activities favoring the direct impact on social and economic development of the agricultural areas, which in Africa 's West passes through obbligatoriammente:
to - the conservation of places of work put in danger by the crisis experienced by different sectors of agriculture (particularly cotton, coffee and cocoa);
b -. the creation of new jobs;
c. - the contrast of the abandonment of rural areas;
d - the reduction of deforestation caused by charcoal production.
JATROPHA
Curcas Plant
Jatropha Curcas is a plant found in Togo and perfectly compatible with the environment.
E 'used to fence to protect crops of animals, which typically do not eat. The leaves and fruit of Jatropha Curcas are not edible for human consumption. The plant survives more than 40 years and reaches a height of 5 meters.
Fruits in the first year, when it produces 1.155 kg of seeds produces 2.31 kg and 3.75 kg and the second the third, when it reaches its maturity. His entertainment is very simple.
Other uses of Jatropha Curcas in the world.
(The information in this section are largely derived from the Purdue University - Center for New Crops and Plants Products website). Leaves
The young leaves are definitely edible if boiled or stewed. The pounded leaves are applied to the eyelid of horses for the purpose repellent for flies as containing cyanide (HCN). Flowers
The species is considered mellifera. Walnuts
In some cases, the nuts are roasted and eaten, even if they are significantly purgative. The nuts can be made burn like candles. Semi
The seeds are used as contraception in Sudan.
from the seeds can be extracted dye.
In some regions of Mexico (a Misantla, near Veracruz) seeds are prized as food, are boiled and then roasted it is not clear whether the treatment reduces the toxicity to allowable levels, or whether the varieties are selected for the less toxic nature.
Roots
Ashes roots are used as insaporente instead of salt.
bark is used as a poison to stun fish. Lattice
potent inhibitor of certain plant viruses. Sap Stain
fabrics. Sometimes used for marking.
Bushes
Mexicans bushes grow to house the insects paint, which is used in medicine as hepatic and reduced appetite (anti esterification is produced instead of the normal fuel biodiesel .
The oil extracted from Jatropha seeds can 'also be used as fuel for cooking, lighting, to produce lubricants, soaps, detergents, bath oils, softeners, it is also used to adulterate the more expensive oils.
The Panel
from the extraction, a tonne of Jatropha seeds will also get 650 tons (65%) of panel of wood with a calorific value of 4500 Kcal, which can be used as a fuel alternative to coal, both in domestic and industrial The panel is also an excellent fertilizer.
PHASES OF THE PROJECT
